The Cultural Attaché of the Republic of Iraq in New Delhi received the representative of the Indian Symbiosis International University, Dr. Nidhi Piplani Kapur, within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation and developing scientific relations between the two sides.

During the meeting, prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of higher education were discussed, along with ways to attract Iraqi students to enroll in the academic programs of Symbiosis International University. The meeting also addressed opportunities for partial scholarships offered by the university, particularly the Golden Jubilee Scholarships, and the mechanisms through which Iraqi students may benefit from them.

During the meeting, Dr. Nidhi Piplani Kapur presented a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing academic and scientific cooperation between the university and the Cultural Attaché, and at providing a general framework for coordination in the areas of student admissions, exchange of academic expertise, and support for joint educational and training programs.

For its part, the Cultural Attaché affirmed its commitment to expanding channels of cooperation with reputable Indian universities, in a manner that serves the interests of Iraqi students, supports their academic journey, and contributes to strengthening educational and cultural relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of India.
