Iraqi Students from Najaf Win First Place at Technoxian World Cup 9.0
raqi participants Maryam Firas Nizar and Mohammed Firas Nizar achieved a remarkable accomplishment by securing first place in the Junior Category at the Technoxian World Cup 9.0, a global robotics competition held in Noida, India, from August 30 to September 2, 2025, with teams from more than 60 countries around the world.

This achievement represents a crowning of the creativity and excellence of young Iraqi talents in the fields of science, technology, and innovation, and affirms their ability to compete on international platforms alongside peers from various countries worldwide.

For its part, the Cultural Mission in New Delhi expressed its pride in the achievement of the two Iraqi innovators, reaffirming its continuous support for promising talents and encouragement of creativity and innovation, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision of nurturing distinguished capabilities and building a generation that raises Iraq’s name high in diverse scientific fields.
